Eligible applicants include non-governmental organisations, foundations, community groups and other civil society actors.
Where is it available? In 15 EU states in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. What are the EEA and Norway Grants? Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are providing €3.268 billion in funding to 15 EU and EEA member states in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics for the period 2021–2028. The EEA and Norway Grants are rooted in the EEA Agreement, through which Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway participate in the EU internal market. The agreement includes a shared objective: to work together to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe. To support this goal, the three donor countries have established the EEA and Norway Grants, which provide funding and cooperation to help strengthen Europe’s cohesion and competitiveness.
