the Risen Christ, which o f course, is the central thought o f the whole book o f Acts, Lesson I (Acts 1 :1-14) shows us the Risen Christ as the giver o f the Holy Spirit. Les­ son II (Acts 2:1-13) again shovys us the Risen Christ as the giver o f the Holy Spirit. Lesson III (Acts 2:14-47) shows Us the Risen Christ exalted by the Father’s right Tiand, receiving from the Father the prom­ ise o f the Holy Spirit, and ^pouring Him forth on the church. Lesson IV (Rom. 8:12-30) shows us the Risen Christ making us joint heirs with Himself as the One conforming us to His image. Lesson V (Acts 3:1-26) shows us the Risen Christ

There is no lesson assigned for today, as the whole time is to be taken up with review o f lessons o f the quarter. I f we omit lessons 4 and 7 and 11, which are out o f their propèr chronological place, thé les­ sons o f this quarter extend over a period o f perhaps seven years, from Thursday, May 18, A. D. 30, to perhaps 37 A. D. The historical lessons are all concerned with the things that Jesus after His resurrec­ tion and ascension "continued both to do and teach” through the' Holy Spirit.
