Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to understand the following: • An introduction of the world of wine • The main types and style of wines • Basic knowledge on viticulture and wine making • The major international varieties and their characteristics • The major wine producing countries and regions • How to describe wines in commercial languages • Professional wine service standards, in video • Basic upselling skills
Mandatory for all front-of-house Level 4 and 5 staff in F&B department, except those who have completed our previous e- learning courses or any WSET courses.
Learning period: 3 weeks (with 1-day live session)
Exam period: 2 weeks
Language available: English and Simplified Chinese
