UNDERSTANDING FOOD ALLERGENS

There are various types of food and ingredients that can cause allergic reactions. Food allergies are a big issue, and all colleagues who handle food directly or indirectly should have a good understanding and awareness of common food allergens. This course is designed to enable the learner to understand food that commonly cause allergic reactions, how these allergens should be handled, and how to ensure guests are served food safely and based on their needs.

Mandatory for all SFS Direct Food Handlers. This is highly recommended for all SFS Indirect Food Handlers, CMT & ERT members, Guest Services, Front Office and Security colleagues.
