WOW – what a great turnout for our 45th Annual Institute! By Norma Dooley, Hotel Chair
Since this issue is coming out while we are at or just finished Institute, here’s hoping you all had a fabulous time in Music City and at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. How could you not enjoy the beautiful gardens, the waterfall light show, complimentary music in the Falls, and a little exercise exploring the hotel? If you made it to the Welcome Reception, I hope you enjoyed how we changed it up a bit this year; having the Grab and Go for those early arrivals, which allowed you to grab a snack and go see the sights of Nashville. And for those late arrivals or those returning from town or shopping, we had a Social Hour, where people could relax and catch up with old friends or make some new acquaintances. Afterwards, you were able to venture off and enjoy one of the many fabulous restaurants in the Gaylord or somewhere else. We worked hard this year to make sure all the meals and breaks were delicious and fit everyone’s dietary palate; hope you thought so too. Closing Session was truly a special treat for our tummies - we really did need a long walk after that.
A big “THANK YOU” to our President, Cheryl Hampton, for picking such a great location for this year’s Institute.
