Medical device manufacturers and users rely on the consistent performance of packaging materials to maintain protection and sterility. In addition, materials used in packaging of Class III devices, such as invasive surgical devices or orthopaedic implants, often also need evaluations for biocompatibility. Evercare® o ers a selection of films supported by declarations of biocompatibility ISO 10993/USP Class VI and/or Pharmacopeia (USP), or European Pharmacopeia (EP). In addition, testing to ISO 116071 gives confidence of the performance for use in sterile barrier packaging. Our films o er superior mechanical and thermoforming properties, as well as superior resistance to terminal sterilisation, when compared to other materials such as PVC or PP. Evercare® films support your sealing
needs, compatible with coated Tyvek®, aluminium and other lidding materials. Evercare® includes products with advanced recycled content, as well as bio-based materials to support your sustainability goals.

Evercare® Endurance
Drop-in alternative medical-grade PETG Evercare® brings to medical customers a drop-in medical-grade PETG film to support supply- chain security of medical device manufacturers.
Our PETG films are made using our sister company Selenis’ HC 500 resin, which has demonstrated full equivalence with the leading medical PETG grade.
Our vertical integration and international footprint not only enhance supply chain security, but also reduce carbon footprint, while bringing a more cost-e ective product. Our Evercare® materials have been evaluated to USP 661.1 and/or EP 3.1, ISO 10993/USP Class IV and ISO 11607.

Recyclable medical-grade APET films Evercare® CE
Evercare® CE films are the perfect choice for customers looking for easy-to-recycle solutions. Our CE films represent a great balance between sustainability and performance, supporting applications such as process automation trays, or even sterile barrier packaging. Additionally, and thanks to the vertical integration with Selenis, Evercare® can work on improving certain APET resin characteristics in order to strengthen final film properties. Our Evercare® materials have been evaluated to USP 661.1 and/or EP 3.1, ISO 10993/USP Class IV and ISO 11607.

Modified recyclable APET for demanding applications
Evercare® CE Impact has been designed for customers looking to maintain their high-demanding specifications, while transitioning towards recyclable solutions. Our CE Impact film is based on a modified APET specifically designed to meet medical thermoforming and FFS needs, while complying with RIC#1 requirements. This material has been developed together with our sister company Selenis, which together with our international footprint, strengthens our customers’ supply-chain security. Our Evercare® materials have been evaluated to USP 661.1 and/or EP 3.1, ISO 10993/USP Class IV and ISO 11607.

Thanks to the incorporation of APET into these structures, these films present an improved clarity and thermoforming capabilities than other flexible solutions. Through this process, the recycled content is depolymerised into its monomers, filtered and polymerised back into new resin. This process allows for safe and controlled incorporation of advanced recycled content without compromising performance, quality or regulatory of the product. Evercare® bio-based solutions
Bio-based films made out of non-fossil fuel materials
Evercare® has developed the first bio-PET thermoforming film. Our bio-PET material is produced with non-fossil fuel raw materials and o ers the same technical performance as virgin materials.
Key features Material with same technical performance as fossil-based equivalent Bio-based product with significant LCA reduction compared to fossil-based alternative Easy-to-recycle solution to facilitate circularity (meeting the requirements for RIC #1 identification) Additionally, this bio-PET film is fully recyclable. Film can be sealed with a mono PET lidding film, aluminium, coated Tyvek® or other lidding materials. This product works with existing production lines, bringing improved thermoforming conditions with regards other materials.
