A Memory: The 11th Annual Golf Tournament

It was a long awaited day and a great way to start a week of busy. We detect more excitement each year. We were raring to get out with new and old friends to enjoy and re - energize. It was a thrill to be able to actually ‘ see ’ all of the smiling faces. Despite a few of Mother Nature ’ s intermittent tears, the sound of laughter, trees blowing in the wind and birds enjoying the company, made it a great day. Thanks to everyone who brought that joy to the Pine Knot Golf & Country Club on Monday, June 20 th , 2022, including the staff and chefs who did not disappoint. It takes many hands to put a golf tournament together. Thanks to S é an Eglinton and Chris DiPietro to resolve every concern; the Board of Directors who are always so absolutely supportive, and all of the sponsors and players who so looked forward to the day and said so. Our tee sponsors put their imagination to work and had some fun games lined up for the players. We also thank all of those who so generously contributed to the prize table, it was a sight to behold. There is always a flurry of activity on the day of. My tasks were made easier and so much more enjoyable with the cheerful assistance of Heather Dickenson of Dickenson Condo Management, Andr é e Ball of Keller Engineering who joined us from Ottawa and Lyndsey McNally of CWB Maxium Financial from Richmond Hill. It was actually exhilarating to work and learn together – multi - tasking at its best.

Thanks to our Sponsors
