• Another full sister to Homeland, 0111 possesses all the good things about the 231A x 317 mating, exceptional balance front to back with superb hoof quality and an extremely attractive head and neck. Her first calf was a Firesteel daughter that was featured in the 2023 Bred for Balance sale as a bred heifer and went to Chuck Buus in SD. Her Gunsmoke bull last year and Essential bull this year are both solid, well built, attractive calves. The potency of her dam has been tremendous, not only in our herd but the entire Simmental breed.

• If you look these cows up on Herdbook, you will notice many of them have donor status. Over the past 4 years we have flushed embryos from a lot of different cows in order to keep them all in production. 0107 is one of those females and her Rainfall calves were nice, but her natural calves have been the stars of the show. Last year, her Homeland son, CLRS Lincoln 0107L, was the $30,000 high selling bull to Chuck and Colton Buus in SD. Headdress transmits impeccable soundness, bone and hoof shape to her calves along with her very balanced EPD profile.
