Al- most three and a half million passen- gers flew with Air Serbia over the first nine months of this year, representing growth of 7.8 per cent compared to the first three quarters of last year. “The recorded monthly results du- ring September show that passenger interest in our flights to various desti- nations across Europe remains high. Thanks to this, we carried more than 470,000 passengers in September. The last day of that month was parti- cularly important for the Serbian na-

tional airline, as we launched a direct route between Belgrade and Guan- gzhou. This is our second destination in the People’s Republic of China and the fourth in long-haul traffic. Air Ser- bia’s network will continue to grow in the coming period, which we hope will contribute to even greater demand for our flights,” said Boško Rupić, Air Ser- bia General Manager, Commercial and Strategy. Air Serbia’s most popular Septem- ber 2024 destinations around the regi- on were Tivat and Podgorica, while the top spots in Western Europe were Zu- rich, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Rome, and the most popular destina- tions in the Euro-Mediterranean zone were Istanbul, Larnaca and Athens.
