WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PHYSICAL THERAPY

The overall goal of physical therapy is healing and prevention. We use the information gathered in the initial evaluation to identify the underlying condition and pathology for the symptoms. We will incorporate treatment manual techniques and modalities to reduce pain and inflammation before initiating active rehabilitation. Our programs focus on correcting dysfunction and/or improper technique and equipment. Rehabilitation will focus on re-establishing range of motion, dynamic stability, and implementing a strengthening program to restore strength, power, and endurance of the entire upper extremity, including the shoulder and shoulder blade musculature. PROTEIN PB & J SMOOTHIE BOWL

• 1 tbsp peanut butter • Optional toppings: 1 tablespoon melted peanut butter for drizzling, blueberries, chia seeds

• 1/4 cup almond, oat or milk of your choice • 2/3 cup frozen blueberries • 2/3 cup sliced strawberries, frozen • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Place your milk into the blender. Add frozen fruit, protein powder and 1 tablespoon peanut butter. Seal and blend until smooth. Pour out into a bowl. If using, melt the remaining peanut butter in the microwave 30 to 45 seconds and drizzle over the bowl. Add desired toppings.
