The Big Red Machine: A 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Back-to-Back World Champions , presented by Dinsmore, features captivating video footage and over 100 artifacts that put a spotlight on the Great Eight and their team journey building the machine. A walk through this exhibition will have fans truly reliving the 1975 and 1976 world championship Reds era. And courtesy of the H.C.S. Foundation, kids 12 and under receive FREE admission! NEW GORMAN HERITAGE FARM EVENT

Spring time means baby animals down on the farm! Gorman Heritage Farm’s new May Farm Fest invites families to not only meet all of the adorable farm babies but so much more. This exclusive one-day only celebration will take place on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beyond meeting friendly farm animals, families can explore craft vendors, try family-friendly food options, touch-a-tractor/truck (9 a.m.–noon) and encounter some of Dino Buddies’ reptiles (noon–3p.m.). Buy tickets in advance online for savings; day of pricing is $10 for children 2–17 and seniors 65+, $15 for adults and free for little ones under the age of two. Keen eyes may have seen some massive mammoths at the Reds Opening Day Parade!This exciting happening kicked off a mammoth move, literally.The Cincinnati Museum Center’s (CMC) collection of four wooly mammoths are moving from their most recent home, outside of the Geier Collections and Research Center, to right next to the museum center at 1518 Dalton Avenue.The mammoths will mark the new home of CMC’s collections, theTreasure Facility, which includes over six million artifacts!The new, state-of-the-art 200,000-square-foot facility will undergo renovations through 2027 and once complete will span 11 acres and house education, research and collections initiatives. MERMAIDS RETURNTO NEWPORT AQUARIUM

The waters of Newport Aquarium are about to get a lot more whimsical this month. Mermaids are making their return for one month only starting on May 24. Families can see mermaids gracefully swimming underwater in the Coral ReefTunnel and say hello to a mermaid who is spending time with stingray friends at the enchanting Mermaid Cove. And be sure to check the schedule to visit the Shark Ray Bay Theatre during a Mermaid Meet & Greet. Newport Aquarium presents Mermaids is included in general admission.
