WHY I Love MY JOB

S easons has developed a culture that is dedicated to providing residents with superior customer service. We want our residents to feel proud to call us home and to know they are surrounded by people who genuinely care. These stories from Seasons team members reflect authentic examples of that mission: “There is a true feeling of love, care, and warmth that greets you at the front door. Staff and residents genuinely care for one another and enjoy our community. The most rewarding aspect is seeing the residents healthy, happy, safe, and “I used to work outside the retirement sector, but I always felt compelled to work with seniors. I first applied for a Leasing Manager position, which I was successful in and enjoyed. I knew very quickly that Seasons was my forever employer. I could not believe that you could have a job you loved! Three years later, I was asked if I was interested in applying for the position of General Manager and I’m so glad I did. My team is amazing and we have a lot of fun working together.” - Tamasin D., Seasons Amherstburg “The people are the best part of my job! Going to work every day knowing that the residents are looking forward to seeing me, as much as I look forward to seeing them, gets me out of bed in the morning! We also have a great team, many of whom have been with Seasons as long as I have, enjoying their home with us.” - Gwen S., Seasons Olds

every time she saw me afterward and it made my heart full. A smile makes it all worth it!” - Polly C., Seasons Owen Sound “The fact that I get to help the residents while getting to know them and hearing their personal stories is my favourite part of the job! This could be as simple as asking about the photos in their rooms to get the conversation started. From there, you can see them light up as they tell you “When you step through those doors, you become family. We treat everyone with love and respect. It’s rewarding being able to get to know the residents and have them feel comfortable enough to talk to me when they need someone to listen, want to chat or come thank me for something small I did to help them. To me, it seems small, but to them it’s something special, which reminds me of why I come into work every day.” - Lorrissa S., also from Seasons Olds “When I enter the building, I instantly feel warmth and comfort. Seasons is like one big, happy family! I have worked at Seasons Strathroy for almost ten years, during that time each resident has left an impact on my heart. Our team all gets along well and respects each other too. We are all there to support each other and provide a home to our residents.” - Tracey J., Seasons Strathroy about their experiences.” - Kim R., Seasons Olds If you know someone who you think would be a great fit for Seasons and is looking to make a difference in the lives of others, encourage them to apply today at www.seasonsretirement.com/ company/careers.

which is going on seven years.” - Cara L., Seasons High River

“The most rewarding part of my job is to know the difference I can make in the lives of our residents. There was one resident who I helped blow dry her hair, she thanked me for that small act of kindness
