This program offers a curriculum that strengthens the body, mind and spirit. Lessons cover important character traits such as respect, courtesy, discipline, courage, leadership, integrity and responsibility, emphasizing peaceful conflict resolution and non- violence through communication. Students will learn from 4 different martial arts styles (Tae Kwon Do, Aikido; Jiu-Jitsu; and Jeet Kune Do) giving them a balanced and well-rounded martial arts experience to progress toward the coveted Black Belt. The Texas Hunter Education certification program covers the skills, regulations and responsibilities of hunting, conservation,

wildlife management and identification. This certification lasts a lifetime and is recognized by all states and provinces requiring hunter education. MINI DRIBBLERS WITH THE HOUSTON ROCKETS Cost: $105 per child Age: 5 - 10 years (Boys & Girls) Camp Days: Sat., Oct. 7 - Oct. 28 Time: 1 - 2:15 p.m. Instructors: Houston Rockets Basketball Staff Location: RCN The Rockets Mini Dribblers is a 6-week long instructional program for boys and girls ages 5 -10 designed to introduce and teach the FUN-damentals of basketball in a unique, exciting, and educational way. Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) is a program of USA Archery that teaches archery to young people, provides great opportunities for awarding achievement, and helps archers to enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition! JOAD offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn range safety and proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters focus, increased self-confidence, and team building skills. JOAD is open to any youth archer aged 8 to 20 and is designed to grow with the youth archer. Introductory JOAD classes teach the fundamentals of proper shooting form; as the young archer develops, they will learn more advanced techniques. Whether your child’s interest is purely recreational or an Olympic, Paralympic or World Championship dream, USA Archery’s JOAD program is tailored to help the young archer achieve their goals. This program requires participants to be members of USA Archery, the Greater Pearland Archery Club and have completed an Explore Archery course taught by USA Archery Instructors.
