Last year alone, she earned about $4,700 in Loyalty Shopping Dollars! “What we have here is so powerful,” she says. “That’s why it’s easy for me to talk to others about it. I’m not embellishing a story or trying to misrepresent who we are. I’m simply sharing the benefits of being part of an incredible shopping club that helps you not only save money but also make money if you choose to tell your friends about it.” Ultimately, Susan finds success by maintaining a service mindset. Every time she hears no from a potential Member, she respectfully asks if it’s okay to follow up with them later. “I absolutely love helping others learn how to shop differently and save money,” she says. “If someone does say no , I remember that I initially refused this opportunity too—and look at me now!”

Over the course of six years, Executive Director 2 Susan Dampier turned down the opportunity to become a Melaleuca shopping club Member numerous times until one day, a friend posted about Clarity Clear Skin Essentials ® on social media. “I thought, ‘I should get that for my daughter,’” she says. “It was that simple.” When Susan went online to purchase it, she was surprised to see Melaleuca also had a botanical disinfectant, eco-friendly cleaners, and hand sanitizer. “It’s crazy to think that an acne line got me in the door after so many years of saying no , but here I am,” she says. “That’s why it’s so important not to give up on a potential customer.” Susan became a Member right away and couldn’t believe Melaleuca’s level of quality and customer service. “This company just made sense,” she says. It wasn’t long before she realized that the business opportunity made sense too. Today, it’s hard for her to choose which aspect of Melaleuca excites her
