Bari Rhys, Paragon Alpacas Bari Rhys is a professional photographer and artist whose work has appeared on magazine covers and in publications across the United States and abroad. As the owner of Paragon Alpacas, she is also a second-generation alpaca farmer and longtime industry veteran with over two decades of experience raising, showing, and market- ing alpacas. Darcy Phillips, Rare Gem Alpacas Darcy Phillips is the founder of Rare Gem Alpacas, where she breeds and markets nationally recognized Appaloosa and Harlequin Alpacas. With a prior career in international business development, she brings a prac- tical, systems-based approach to building a farm business. In her pres- entation Darcy shares simple, real-world ways she uses AI as a ”thinking partner” to support marketing, client communication, and day to day Amber Gurko of Fulcrum Farms uses AI-driven tools and her own custom herd management app to streamline alpaca breeding, genetic tracking, and farm operations. Her work focuses on building organized, data-based sys- tems that support better decision-making and long-term genetic diversity in alpaca herds. She is also currently researching roan and modern grey color expression through an independent data collection process. momentum – without a tech background. Amber Gurko, Fulcrum Farms Lynn Edens, Snowmass Alpacas Lynn has been breeding alpacas for almost 20 years and avoiding un- necessary effort for even longer. Late to the AI party because she was in her words “too old for that foolishness” (she used a slightly different phrase), Lynn and her fellow vibe coder Susanne have found many ways to use AI tools to simplify farm data collection and management, develop breeding plans, and improve marketing materials. All of this reduces labor and leaves more time for wine.
