People aged 80 to 89 years accounted for 38.0% of survey respondents, with 23.8% aged 90 years or older. The vast majority of respondents (95.6%) indicated the person that died had a white, Irish ethnic background. Tables C summarises the characteristics of the person who died by sex, age and ethnic group.
