Ways to Incorporate into Treatments
Let’s explore a few of the key formulas that are great to incorporate into your treatments this season.
Pumpkin Parfait Enzym e may smell like pumpkin pie, but it exfoliates the skin beautifully. The pumpkin ferment is the equivalent to a 10% glycolic acid making it great for those with thicker, photo-aged skin or clients struggling with pustular acne. Buffer with Pumpkin E Serum to reduce the activity and get this fall favorite into more treatments. Pumpkin E Serum is an excellent treatment serum! Known for its silky, hydrating texture, this serum boosts healing and antioxidant protection. We recommend adding a pump or two to your facial massage cocktail or booster bar cocktail. Try cocktailing Mandelic Arginine Peel + Chamo-Weiss Liposome + Nutra 8 Booster + Growth Factor Serum + Pumpkin E Serum together for those with depleted, photo-aged skin. Apple Wine Peel is a favorite as we kick off peel season! Great for so many skin types, especially pro youth, photo-aged skin, but don’t shy away from trying this on an acne skin. For client’s not looking to peel, but want the benefits, add a dropper to a blend of Milk Mask and Grape Seed Parfait Mask or cocktail with Pumpkin E Serum.
Grape Seed Parfait Mask is a cool, creamy mask ideal as we transition into the cooler months. Great on its own, or over a layer of Pumpkin E Serum, this mask delivers antioxidants and hydration! The Pro Series line offers several formulas with herbs too! Italian Herbal Peel is one of our favorites and can be used on so many skin types. Cocktail it with Cell Conditioner, add into an enzyme for a boost of circulation, nutrients and anti-inflammatory support. Looking for something less stimulating? Try the Rosemary Basil Mask ! A great choice for all skin types, especially those with sluggish, inflamed skin.
INGREDIENTS OF THE SEASON
Pumpkins are the first fruit to remind us of the season! They contain a wide spectrum of vitamin A derivatives that not only focuses on reversing the signs of aging but boosts antioxidant protection. The Pro Series line has several formulas with this key ingredient to impact skin and create a comforting aroma. Apples are rich in malic acid, a member of the Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) family. While malic acid may not be as well-known as glycolic and lactic, it has some great properties of its own. A gentle exfoliant in addition to its ability to firm and tone the skin. Excellent for those ranging from a loss of elasticity to enlarged pores. Grapes are also in harvest during the fall and are rich in antioxidants like resveratrol, which helps protect against UV damage. Grapes are also a great source for flavonoids that inhibit enzymes that break down healthy collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin in the skin. Tartaric acid, which is derived from grapes, is also considered one of the firming AHA’s.
Take the time this season to give extra thanks to your clients and indulge their skin in some of these fall ingredients!
