What was your biggest obstacle in getting your business going? My biggest obstacle in starting was the process of taking the leap to start. Louisa Alten, who is my mentor and close friend was really instrumental in encouraging me to make that decision. I am grateful for all of her support and all that I have learned from her. How has RA Skin Care changed your business? Rhonda Allison Cosmeceuticals has been transformative in building my confidence while helping me to build a clientele. This line has truly allowed me to make a difference in peoples lives by helping them to love their skin. What is your favorite Fall RA retail product and why? My favorite is Bio 53 Matrix Plus! It helps with added moisture, healing, and stimulating collagen production. These benefits are needed all year long, but especially with the Fall season when we are doing more corrective treatments like peels and microneedling. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? Laughing with my children Brooklyn and Zach.
How long have you been with RA? I’ve been with the company for 7 years and have been a part of the labeling department, shipping department, and now the lab.
How long have you been with RA? I began working with Rhonda Allison Skincare December 6, 2022. What is your favorite thing about your job? As a licensed esthetician, I love that I have the opportunity to work with both RA new account partners (estheticians & their businesses) as well as RA retail consumers. I enjoy building and withholding relationships! With this I love being a part of and continuously learning more of the education aspect of this role while providing regimen, protocol, marketing, and overall educational support. In addition, I provide services in our RA Skin Studio as well. With this, I enjoy getting to connect with the consumers in person as they visit our studio here in Colorado, providing consultations, facials, peels, and regimens. What is your favorite Fall RA retail product and why? My favorite is Pumpkin Lactic Cleanse mixed with Gentle Peptide Cleanse. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? A lavender iced dirty chai with oat milk Do you have a life lesson that helped you turn the corner? Good things don’t come easy. What’s the last thing you read? The Gifts of Imperfection – Brene Brown Where is the next place you would like to travel to and why? Spain as my aunt is retiring there! What’s your favorite… movie? The Devil Wears Prada song? Closer to the Sun – by Slightly Stoopid food? Tuna Poke Bowl Do you have a life motto? Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be and embrace who you are.
What was your biggest obstacle in getting your business going? The creeping insecurity of being in over my head. There is peaceful security working for someone else, that disappears. I had to breathe and remind myself I am good at what I do, and I love what I do. That knowledge and passion pushed me through those doubtful moments. How has Rhonda Allison Cosmeceuticals changed your business? Where do I start? I started working with the line when I first became an esthetician. As a new esthetician everyone knows it takes time to build your clientele. With a lot of time between clients, I studied ingredients and how they work to improve skin. The Rhonda Allison line is large, and can be overwhelming, but it really works. The quality of ingredients and the vast line allow me to tweak and change to my clients needs very easily. My in-depth knowledge of the line has created a trust between me and my clients that is crucial in my business. What is your favorite Fall RA retail product and why? In the treatment room, I tend to lean towards gentle acids. I incorporate Pumpkin Lotion and Pumpkin Enzyme a lot. I absolutely love Drops of Essence or Infuse 7 mixed with Regenerating Cream as a finisher for my aging clients and Pumpkin Serum mixed with Ultra Hydration or Mandelic Replenish for my acne or rosacea clients. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? Getting a text from a client that their skin is glowing and looks so much better, especially my acne clients. Dealing with acne can be so tricky and I can feel their frustration when they come in. When I get a text that their skin is better, I can feel the happiness in their words. There is no better feeling. What’s the last thing you read? The Last Flight by Julie Clarke. Excellent! Besides your work what is fills up your time? Golf with my husband. Golf allows me to shut down and just enjoy being outside and work on my game. Where is the next place you would like to travel to and why? I always try to have a trip in the holster. Ireland and Scotland in 2024 is the goal. It’s always been a dream to golf there. What’s your favorite… movie? Shawshank Redemption song? Just one? “Stay Alive” by Jose Gonzalez food? Sushi Do you have a business/life motto? It’s more things my parents instilled in me my entire life. Work hard. When you fall, pick yourself up, shrug it off, learn from it and get back to work. Treat others with respect, and love what you do. Life is too short to be unhappy.
What is your favorite thing about your job? My favorite thing is everyone feels like family.
What is your favorite Fall RA retail product and why? I love the Pumpkin Lactic Cleanse because it smells so good and it makes my skin smooth. What’s the one thing that can instantly make your day better? Peace. Do you have a life lesson that helped you turn the corner? Growing up as an orphan, I had to learn to be independent but when I had my daughter, I learned the value and appreciation for family and relationship.

Besides your work, what fills your time? I spend my time with my children, boyfriend, friends, listening to podcasts about health and anti-aging, going to the gym, and watching reality shows. Where is the next place you would like to travel to and why? I would like to travel to Hawaii or the Caribbean with my boyfriend. We have not had a vacation together alone without our children ever. So a beach with warm water would be amazing!

Do you have a business/life motto? In business, I always keep in mind that when people come to me for their skin, it’s a CHOICE. I always try to make sure they are happy with that choice.
