+1 +17 Good thick made Tukudika son. He is line-bred Horse Butte 6141 of 3141 with Equinox and Erector being flush brothers. In hindsight 75 was the most underused of the flush brothers being he, Equinox, and Loyning 6141 Encore 71, but was probably the best female maker of the lot. Lot 589’s mother is really the ideal kind for commercial production. She’s deep made, sturdy, productive, and feminine with all the convenience traits being top notch, too. I really like this bull and he was another on the shortlist of bulls to be turned back out here. +2.7 +40 +57 +19

+4 +26 Nice line-bred Pivot Point. His dam is a gorgeous little cow. She’s really pronounced in her feminine wedge and has a beautiful head and udder. Her dam, 9047, is also the dam of our El Caporal 1138 herd sire. Use him on heifers or cows, be your own judge. +0.4 +22 +32 +15

-4 +15 Lot 592 sells as a commercial due to a clerical error on my part. I accidentally registered him as a heifer. I did go through and hand figure his data and compared him to the commercial contemporary group. He can be registered if need be. He’s a solid bull from what is maybe the best Kevin daughter to date. She has an excellent udder and is near ideal in her makeup. Cow bull. +3.5 +39 +65 +20

na na Heifer bull. Traces to one of our tried and true old original cow families. No second guessing here, he’ll sire usefulness consistently. That should universally be a given when buying bulls, shouldn’t it? Sadly it’s not. Some of the self proclaimed “maternal” producers are the worst offenders. They spread a lot of shit that should never see the light of day. Funny part is people keep buying their bullshit for too much money thinking they’re buying the cutting edge, when in reality those bulls are costing them a whole lot more than their purchase price, genetically. This perpetuates the need to find the next bull to cover the weaknesses of the last ones. Put that story on repeat and you have a common theme throughout the beef industry. Sad. It’s time to get off my soapbox, this heifer bull will contribute in a positive way. na na na na
