WELCOME TO SCHEURER HEALTH FROM THE DESK OF ROSS RAMSEY, MD
As we continue to focus on people, service and quality, there have been great efforts recently to ensure our local communities can receive high quality care close to home and avoid traveling far to do so. This has ultimately led to significant growth at Scheurer Health. We've added specialists in Urology, Pain Management, Neurology, Gynecology, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine and continue to grow our number of Primary Care providers. With that growth, we are in a state of ever-expansion and seem to have construction projects everywhere we turn. Although we might not be able to park in our favorite parking spot for a few days or have to endure some intermittent noise from heavy machinery, we have our eyes set on the future and are excited about our sustainable trajectory. High quality care is the backbone of our success and it is made possible by the dedicated team in each of our 20-plus locations. I was fortunate to grow up in the Thumb; I want to ensure that not only is high quality care available for the area, but with an unmatched experience and outcome for everyone who walks through our doors.
Dr. Ramsey speaks at the 2024 Auxiliary Spring Luncheon & Style Show . The Auxiliary has been a major piece of our Foundation and a large fundraising force since the hospital’s founding in 1945. The style show’s theme was “lemon zest” and Dr. Ramsey just happened to have the appropriate colors available in his wardrobe.
