We will enter a maze of narrow streets, to discover the Vescovado district with a visit to the Cathedral of S.S. Annun- ziata, one of the most beautiful chur- ches in Italy. We will walk outside the crenellated walls of the sumptuous Giusso Castle, concluding the walk with a stop at the "Silio Italico" Antiquarium and the Etruscan tomb (found in via Nicotera), evidence of an ancient history that has seen our coun- try protagonist of a glorious past. From the Marina d'Aequa to Chiosse, from the Gulf of Naples to that of Saler- no, from the Sorrento Peninsula to the Amalfi Coast, crossing the territory of Vico Equense between the villages of Seiano, Alberi and Arola, surrounded by history, culture and panoramas. 10 km of mixed wonders between urban and mid-mountain stretches. VICO EQUENSE AND SANTA MARIA DEL TORO STREET
The tour will start from the Etruscan tomb of Via Nicotera, until reaching the picturesque village of Santa Maria del Toro, located about 50 meters above the Castellammare-Sorrento road, before entering Vico. The church has recently returned to the news for the discovery of a 16th century canvas stolen by thieves in the 1970s, which can be admired again after careful restoration. We will proceed towards Via Scrajo, to end the walk with a pano- ramic view of the city as a final "gree- ting".
