Itinerary dedicated to archeology lovers. Starting from the Etruscan tomb, visible in via Nicotera, we will retrace part of the ancient layout of the pre-Roman necropolis, to reach the Antiquarium Silio Italico. After the visit to the Museum, after a brief stop at the Paradiso villa, we will continue through the ancient staircase that connected the village of Vico with the ancient Aequa marina, to the Pezzolo beach. This location will offer the opportunity to talk about the Roman villa of Pezzolo, symbol of the presence of Roman villas that dotted the Sorrento peninsula. We will then know the origin of the name of via Murrano and finally the history of the Saracen tower of Caporivo and the limestone of the Aequa marina, today an equipped beach and place of nightlife. The tour will start from the jewel that is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, to continue along the road that descends towards Marina d'Aequa, up to the ruins of the Roman villa of Pezzolo. From there you can admire the Saracen tower of Caporivo, up to the square with the church of Sant'An- tonio and discover the history of the ancient limestone.
