An easy itinerary to discover Monte Faito with all the most beautiful views. You cross pine, fir and beech woods, with a wonderful view of Vesuvius and the coast of the Gulf of Naples, until you reach the top of the sanctuary dedicated to S. Michele, an evocative place of vocation and sacred- ness. Along the way, we will tell stories of ingenuity and local life, we will talk about the production of wood for the construction sites of Castellammare di Stabia and we will learn about the life and adaptation to the territory of a community that still inhabi- ts Faito. The itinerary crosses the wood to visit the centuries-old beech trees over four hundred years old, linked to the history of the trade and transport of snow to the coastal towns and reaches the side of the mountain that turns west, with a wonderful view of Vico Equense, the peninsula Sorrento and Capri.
