A unique and exciting journey through the hills of Vico Equense, retracing old itineraries also dedicated in ancient times to the transport of milk. An excur- sion that will bring together nature, culture, history, traditions and gastro- nomy of these places, crossing the villages of Arola, Alberi and Pacognano where you can admire unique scene- ries. The destination of the walk is the "Fernando De Gennaro" museum of dairy art, the only one of its kind in Italy, which will offer a guided tour to the participants, who will be able to obser- ve the Fiordilatte being made and whoever wishes will be able to comple- te the cultural and gastronomic itinerary with a tasting excellent chee- ses from the De Gennaro Dairy (own production). THE MILK ROUTES WITH VISIT TO THE MUSEUM AND DEMONSTRATION We will immerse ourselves in the Borgo di Preazzano, among ancient handi- crafts (iron and silk) and agricultural productions (oil, wine and walnuts) among ancient houses, arcades, chur- ches, farms and much more. An experiential journey to discover the ancient farmhouses of Vico Equense, each rich in history and traditions with a distinct identity. The route winds through the city, hilly and mountainous paths and takes you back in time through the stories of an era lived between agriculture, craftsmanship, legends, men and women who have made the history of these places. 7 km from Pacognano a Vico crossing the villages of Fornacelle, Alberi, Monte- chiaro, Seiano. The workforce, in a past not too distant from us, was female. This path is dedicated to them and recalls a work that has now disappeared. THE HARVESTERS’ PATH The path that connects the villages closest to the sea of Vico Equense. Among ancient alleys, gates and hidden corners ready to fascinate and surprise the walker.
