ELEMENT 1.1 - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Learning objective:
4) The participants show interest in the safety and emergency procedures at the training facility (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Explain and ask involving questions aiming at:
a.
safety instructions according to internal procedures
b. emergency procedures and emergency exits in the areas where the participants can be expected to be located during the course
Check understanding within the group by facilitating a group discussion:
The participants shall:
Engage in answering questions on local safety and emergency procedures
ELEMENT 1.2 - FACILITIES
Learning objective:
5) The participant can recognise the location of the facilities at the training location (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present a general description of the facilities at the training location (administration, dining area, restrooms, toilets, etc)
Alternatively, give a tour and point out facilities:
The participants shall:
Note relevant facilities and ask questions when in doubt
