Test probes must be selected to match the physical requirements of the test point and be in accordance with local electrical regulatory requirements. Non- contact voltage detectors are for use only with non-contact voltage portals or for double checking that the lockout boundary is in electrically safe work condition. Non-contact voltage detectors are not allowed for test-before- touch verification.
