The instructor shall: Explain the hazards and risks when working with load attachment points Explain the different types of load attachment including equipment characteristics and usage Explain specific lifting points like: a. eyebolts and eye nuts b. trunnions c. camlocks and container lugs d. permanent lifting lugs Demonstrate the use of load attachment points covering the ones mentioned in this element Provide feedback to participants on relevant practice activities The participants shall: Practise the ability to use load attachments points correctly Discuss how to avoid hazards and risks while working with load attachment points Receive feedback constructively ELEMENT 3.6 - ACCESSORY STORAGE Learning objective: 35) The participants can take responsibility for storing accessories correctly and safely (Ability, intermediate level)
The instructor shall: Show examples of, and explain how to store, lifting accessories correctly and describe potential consequences of failing to do so Provide constructive feedback to participants on storing accessories
