these types of goods from entering the United States through postal channels. Streamlining Government Coordination to Tackle Counterfeits The NAM proposes a centralized anti-counterfeiting government agency and other steps to improve coor- dination and information sharing between the govern- ment and the private sector. Improving Private-Sector Collaboration in the Fight Against Counterfeits Private-sector actors, including brand owners, e-com- merce platforms and others, must boost collaboration to improve information sharing and other coordina- tion to halt counterfeiting throughout the sales and distribution chain. Empowering Consumers to Avoid Counterfeits Manufacturers support efforts to educate and em- power consumers to avoid counterfeits, including leg- islative solutions to require platforms to notify online shoppers about real or potential risks from counter- feits. Consumers would also benefit from education campaigns on counterfeit products, especially those related to COVID-19.

Investing for the future

For nearly seventy-ve years Pamarco has been growing and servicing the packaging industry by investing in its people, state of the art equipment, and facilities to remain a leader in the business. We look forward to the next seventy-ve and hope that you’ll join us.

Despite the pervasive and devastating effects of counterfeiting, consumers remain unaware of the many dangers the products pose.
