The participants shall:

Engage in the discussion and share understandings about the importance and challenges of assessing fires in wind turbines and the point in a fire development to evacuate from the wind turbine

Engage in the learning activity and share understandings about:

a. how fire extinguisher media acts to extinguish fires by considering the fire triangle

b. the fire classes and typical extinguisher media for these classes (refer to table 4-3.7 below)

c. typical fire extinguishing media that can be found in a wind turbine and which fire classes these can be used for

The aim of this lesson is to reduce the risks of a fire by enabling the participants to use the right fire prevention measures in a wind turbine.
