ELEMENT 4.2 - PREPARING FOR THE TASK

Learning objectives:

37) The participants can distinguish between suitable and damaged or compromised bolts, nuts and washers (Skill, intermediate level)

38) The participants can perform a visual inspection of bolts (Skill, intermediate level)

39) The participants can distinguish between functioning and damaged pump and hose components (Skill, intermediate level)

40) Participants can perform appropriate actions to mitigate damaged or malfunctioning pumps and hose components as to ensure that they do not pose a safety or quality risk to the specified bolt torquing task (Skill, intermediate level)

41) The participants can distinguish between functioning and damaged tool components (Skill, intermediate level)

42) Participants can perform appropriate actions to mitigate damaged or malfunctioning tool components as to ensure that they do not pose a safety or quality risk to the specified bolt torquing task (Skill, intermediate level)

43) Participants can perform any pre-job maintenance on tools in accordance with manufacturers manuals (Skill, intermediate level)

The instructor shall:
