Discuss the need to stop work as soon as something is out of the ordinary
Present how to identify and rectify common faults and failures with energy powered equipment, including:

Sudden changes in pressure

Loose hoses
c.
Tool failure
d. Incorrect use of tools (incorrect torque wrench setting)
e. Pump electrical supply problems (generators if used for the powering the pump)
f.
Leakages of hydraulic fluid
g.
Incorrect setup under covers/handles
h.
Depressurising the system and checking for faults

Bolt not tightened correctly

Broken gearboxes

Insufficient pressure

Lead a discussion and ask engaging questions about the importance of following manuals, company procedures and documentation requirements when encountering equipment faults and failures
Give constructive feedback on the participants on their performance during discussions
