ELEMENT 3.2 - ATTITUDE REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKING WITH POWERED TORQUING TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES
Learning objective:
38) The participants can describe how correct attitude, documentation requirements and company procedures mitigate safety hazards and quality incidents associated with bolt torquing (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Lead a discussion on, and provide examples of the role of correct attitudes for improving safety and quality of bolt torquing using powered equipment, including:
a.
collective responsibility for safety
b.
reporting
c.
planning
d.
stop work
e.
following procedures
f. ask participants open ended questions about how attitude can help improve safety and quality of bolt torquing
The participants shall:
Engage themselves in discussions and share understandings about the role of attitude in relation to safety and quality of bolt torquing
Answer questions about how attitude can improve safety and quality of bolt torquing
Share understandings and considerations with instructors and other participants
Take responsibility for their learning by seeking guidance and clarification when in doubt
