105) The participants can recognise examples of internal crane locations in the nacelle (Knowledge, basic level)
106) The participants can recognise the different main components of the nacelle crane (Knowledge, basic level)
107) The participants can recognise preconditions for the operation of an internal crane with an external generator (Knowledge, basic level) 108) The participants can describe the risks and hazards associated with operating the cranes or being within the lifting area (Knowledge, basic level) 109) The participants can describe the requirements for operating, installing and certifying the cranes in accordance with the local legislation and company policies (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Explain the intended use of the nacelle crane
Show examples of internal crane locations in the nacelle
Show examples of and explain the different main components of a nacelle crane
Explain the preconditions for the operation of a crane without grid power, e.g.:
a. The internal and transition piece crane must be inspected and certified
b.
Operators must be trained when applicable
Explain the risks and hazards associated with operating the cranes or being within the lifting area.
Ask the participants relevant questions about the risks and hazards associated with operating the cranes or being within the lifting area Facilitate discussions about how to identify the requirements for operating, installing and certifying the cranes in accordance with the local legislation and company policies
The participants shall:
Describe in their own words and share understandings about the risks and hazards associated with operating the cranes or being within the lifting area Engage in discussions about how to identify requirements for operating, installing and certifying the cranes in accordance with the local legislation and company policies.
