100) The participants can describe the correct PPE (Knowledge, basic level)

The instructor shall:

Show examples of and describe the different risks and hazards associated with the operation of auxiliary systems without grid-power.

Facilitate group discussions on the risks and hazards associated with the operation of auxiliary systems without grid power, and how these risks and hazards can be mitigated.

Give constructive feedback on the participants’ group discussion about the risks and hazards associated with operation of auxiliary systems with an external generator, and how these risks and hazards can be mitigated

The participants shall:

Engage in a group discussion about the risks and hazards associated with the operation of auxiliary systems without grid power, and how these risks and hazards can be mitigated

Engage in discussions about the importance of appropriate isolation/locking techniques (e.g. Lock Out Tag Out)

Engage in discussions about the correct PPE.

ELEMENT 11.3 - PRECONDITIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF LIFTS WITH AN EXTERNAL GENERATOR

Learning objectives:

101) The participants can recognise preconditions for the operation of a lift with an external generator (Knowledge, basic level)

102) The participants can describe the risks and hazards associated with operating the lift or being in the vicinity zone of the lift (Knowledge, basic level)

103) The participants can describe how to identify the requirements for operating, installing and certifying the lifts in accordance with the local legislation and company policies (Knowledge, basic level)
