ELEMENT 4.12 - PROCESSOR CONTROL SYSTEMS
Learning objective:
70) The participants can recognise the function of the processor control system and its position in the diagram and communication between components (Knowledge, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Explain the function of a Wind Turbine Processor Control System and how the controls system communicates with components via copper signal cable, optical cable or data cable
Explain the position of the Wind Turbine Processor Control System in the circuit
The participants shall:
Describe in their own words and share understandings about the function of processor control systems
ELEMENT 4.13 - CORRECT INSTALLATION AND TIGHTENING OF ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Learning objectives:
71) The participants can show interest in following approved procedures for the correct installation and tightening of electrical components (Ability, basic level)
The instructor shall:
Present practical examples of the potential consequences of both under and over tightening, also from using the incorrect tooling for the task
Assign an electrical connection task to be solved in pairs
Provide overall feedback
Tools to be applied: torque wrench, torque driver
