Our breeding philosophy is straight forward. Take care of the basics first and build from there, without losing sight of functionality. With cattle feeding being part of the operation, we fully understand the value of end-product merit; but first we must start with a functional cow base and bulls that hold up in a wide range of environments. Charolais genetics that do what they should, offering modest birthweight and explosive growth with added yield and efficiency in the feedyard. Angus genetics that produce problem free females that wean a heavy calf year after year and bring added carcass value to the feedyard. We strive to use as much science and data as possible to continually improve the genetics we offer you, but you will not find us chasing fads and extremes at the cost of producing cattle that don’t get the basics right.
