The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is always very popular at Waldegrave, seeing students through Years 9-11 participate in Bronze, Silver and Gold level expeditions. The Bronze expedition opened up to our Year 9 students and almost the entire year group signed up, with 175 students participating! Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award
To complete their Bronze DofE students have been working towards the three required sections, helping the community/environment, becoming fitter and developing a new skill, and preparing for the fourth and final section - planning, training for and completing an expedition. To help the students prepare for their upcoming practice and assessed expeditions we welcomed external instructors from Aim High who hosted training sessions for our DofE groups.
