All of our Year 7 Science classes were set with a fun challenge that would enhance their STEM skills. They were tested with designing and crafting a ‘nest’ using only paper and tape that would protect their egg when dropped. The groups took it in turns to drop their nests from set heights, increasing each round, until only one remained. Some creations were able to withstand sudden impact with the ground from a staggering distance of 8m!
