Our Year 8 students were lucky enough to visit the Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon as part of their Religious Education lessons on worship. They were welcomed by a Buddhist monk from Thailand who spoke to the students about why their faith is important to them as well as explaining how they worship. They were also given the chance to explore the gardens and participate in a meditation as well as viewing the beautiful shrine and mural paintings in the main temple. We are very grateful for this opportunity to allow our students to explore the beautiful grounds of this Thai Temple and learn more about Buddhism.
