Earlier this term, we had the privilege of welcoming Laura Trott MBE, Minister of Pensions, into Waldegrave. During her visit she spoke to students from Years 10 and 12 about their future plans and aspirations as well as the importance of pensions.
She also discussed her plans for reform, what it is like to be an MP and how getting into politics is a fantastic way to make a difference. The students were really engaged and asked some very insightful questions - we hope they use this experience to their advantage when we do our own mock Elections next year!
