INCIDENT MANAGEMENT, EMERGENCY RESPONSE & TELECONSULTATION 30 min. The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to safely manage emergencies (accident/illness) in remote areas in a wind turbine environment. After having successfully completed this lesson, the participants can: 21) Take responsibility for the management of emergencies (accident/illness) in remote areas (Ability, intermediate level) 22) Act independently in requesting immediate medical/rescue assistance providing a concise and relevant report of the casualty’s condition (Ability, intermediate level) 23) Take responsibility for requesting telemedical consultation and medical/rescue assistance providing a concise and relevant report of the casualty’s condition and obtaining medical advice to further stabilise the casualty by using telemedical consultation according to local emergency response plans (Ability, intermediate level)

ELEMENT 4.1 - SAFETY AWARENESS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION

Learning objectives: 24) The participants can discuss personal hazards to rescue personnel and victim associated with emergency situations and apply knowledge and skills for safety awareness (Knowledge, intermediate level) 25) The participants can perform skills to take first aid measures with regard for personal protection (Skills, intermediate level) 26) The participants can discuss core aspects of psychological care in first aid situations (Knowledge, intermediate level)
