Enhanced First Aid Refresher Training / V5 2023-05-02
The participants shall: Practise and demonstrate: a. performing CPR on adults - single first aider including correct use of AED and ventilatory equipment b. performing CPR on adults - two first aiders including correct use of AED and ventilatory equipment c. treatment of a casualty who requires ventilatory support using advanced first aid equipment/airway management devices: c.i bag valve mask resuscitation (two-person technique for bag-mask ventilation is recommended according to national/regional guidelines) c.ii mouth-mask resuscitation (pocket face mask) c.iii airway devices d. demonstrate a full resuscitation sequence using all available equipment simulated external telemedical support Engage in answering questions and share understandings a. oxygen therapy equipment including different types of masks and delivery devices b. oxygen safety c. indication for oxygen therapy according to national guidelines d. practise the oxygen therapy equipment
Resuscitation according to applicable resuscitation guidelines e.g., ERC, AHA etc.
