The instructor shall: Present: a. the causes, recognition and stages of hypothermia and hyperthermia and the appropriate treatment b. use of appropriate first aid equipment (e.g., blankets, active warming blankets) c. the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke d. cooling measures for heat exhaustion and heat stroke

The participants shall: Engage in discussions and explain:

a. the risks of hypothermia and how to take appropriate measures b. the difference and risks between heat exhaustion and heat stroke
