Lesson 7: Themes was removed because the content will be practiced during the following section of scenario-based training Lesson 8: Enhanced first aid exercises (scenario-based training) Lesson 8 became Lesson 7 New note added: ‘It is recommended that participants should undertake a general warmup exercise before commencing scenario-based training and practise manual handling techniques throughout.’ Few learning objectives and activities were rephrased for communication clarity without change in content. 7.1.7 Examples of scenarios was updated and rearranged to provide a more logical and relevant list of scenario examples. Annexes Annex 1 – Equipment List updated Term ‘dummies’ was changed to ‘mannequins’ The ratio mannequins - adult for resuscitation (e.g. for ventilation, airways devices, AED use, immobilisation) has changed to ‘one to four participants (or as in accordance with local guidelines)’ to meet HSE and other local guidelines Added equipment: - medical oxygen therapy equipment including high concentration breathing masks - stretcher of a type commonly found in WTG environment

Description of changes 3 Taxonomy alignment throughout The section Understanding GWO learning objectives has been updated to reflect the reviewed GWO Taxonomy Framework. April 2022 All learning objectives have been updated with action verbs that reflect the taxonomic levels (basic, intermediate, and advanced level) and the domain (knowledge, skills, and ability) without changing the content of the element. Action verb ‘demonstrate’ in learning objectives is changed to relevant action verb level/domain.
