New Agent Onboarding Playbook
Welcome to the Keller Williams Family! You are joining a company with a beautiful culture centered around supporting one another, and KW Cares is at the heart of that culture. KW Cares is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit dedicated to serving KW associates and their dependent family members experiencing financial hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. We do that primarily by providing three types of grants to eligible recipients: Catastrophic Hardship Grants of up to $30,000, Emergency Grants of up to $5,000, and Emergency Disaster Grants of up to $5,000.
KW Cares maintains the highest seals of approval with non-profit rating agencies. Fewer than 1% of non-profits in the US have earned this distinguished status.
This means when you donate to us, you can be assured that your gift will be stewarded wisely and will make a positive impact on our KW Family.

KW Cares Grants KW Cares supports KW associates and their eligible dependents across Canada, the U.S., and U.S. territories through three grant programs: Catastrophic Hardship, Emergency, and Emergency Disaster Grants. Each program has distinct eligibility and application requirements. To begin the process, KW associates can submit an online Request to Apply by clicking the links below. Catastrophic Hardship Grants — Up to $30,000 For events such as a medical illness, injury related to an accident, or major repairs due to a housing disaster. Emergency Grants — Up to $5,000 Available for immediate, critical needs following a localized housing disaster (ex., house fire), the funeral of a qualified family member, air ambulance when traveling abroad, or relocation assistance for survivors of domestic violence. Emergency Disaster Grants — Up to $5,000 During large-scale natural disasters, these grants help with immediate, critical needs such as food, temporary shelter, lost clothing and personal care items, transportation, and other basic needs.

KW Cares Grants Because of the generosity of our KW Family over the last two decades, KW Cares has awarded more than 7,400 grants totaling over $70 million dollars to our KW Family. Ways to Support Our Mission
Transactional Giving
Transactional Giving is when an agent donates a portion of each closing to KW Cares. This is set up through a simple process in Command - you just set it and forget it!
By contributing a portion of each closing, you’re ensuring that every KW associate and agent is helped in their time of need. A heartfelt donation of as little as $5 with each transaction will make a huge difference in the lives of our KW Family.

Other Ways to Support KW Cares
Throughout the year, Regions and Market Centers host events to fundraise for KW Cares. We're so appreciative of local-level support. In addition, KW Cares hosts the following signature events:
February Family Reunion events - Silent Auction at our booth, informative breakout sessions, and the Keller Classic Tournament
May KW Cares Month - A month-long, peer-to-peer fundraiser celebrating our mission
August Mega Agent Camp booth and events
October Multiply Your Business - A live, educational event designed to help agents increase their productivity and support KW Cares during natural disaster season
