Sun Chemical To Implement Tariff Surcharge To address rising costs caused by recent global trade de- velopments affecting raw material tariffs, Sun Chemical will implement a tariff surcharge on impacted color mate- rials products, including pigments, both imported and pro- duced in the United States. Despite the high share of domestic production and sourcing, the recently installed tariffs significantly impact costs for base chemicals, raw materials, equipment parts and supply chain operations.
