Hurry Hard was written over the course of a year -- which included a workshop with Lighthouse Festival Theatre. “This will be the fourth play of mine produced at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre,” Kristen enthuses. I consider them good friends, so it’s very nice to be back! They have such a passion for comedy, and I’m looking forward to all the ideas and interpretations they’ll bring to the show.” Director, Liz Gilroy, offers, “ Hurry Hard is a truly Canadian comedy: curling, cheering for the underdog, ex-hockey players, a little bit of romance and saving a hometown haunt from demolition.
