This year’s theme, “Sisters in Strength,” honors the strength within each of us while also highlighting the power that comes when we gather together. As we navigate the changes facing our community, we have learned the importance of being flexible and resilient. In that spirit, we’re excited to present a boutique-style event this year—smaller and more intimate—allowing us to create meaningful connections and spend quality time together. The Tribal Gaming Protection Network (TGPN) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, originally established as an initiative by Chairman Stevens Jr. of the Indian Gaming Association. Our mission is to provide innovative resources, educational materials, and cutting-edge programs that empower gaming professionals, regulators, and tribal governments, enhancing the integrity and professionalism of the gaming industry. We focus on three key areas: Women in Tribal Gaming, Surveillance and Security, and the Next Generation. Our vision is to cultivate a thriving environment where gaming professionals, regulators, and tribal governments collaborate to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, ultimately fostering the prosperity of tribal communities. Track Three: Building Tomorrow – Innovation, Vision & Next-Gen Leadership Workshop Track Description: This future-focused track dives into innovation, generational leadership, and preparing the next wave of tribal gaming leaders. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 – 10:45 – 11:45 AM I’ve Got Issues—Let’s Talk About Them: This session will discuss tackling burnout, impostor syndrome, and the invisible weight women carry at work. Description: Behind the professional polish, many women in the gaming industry are quietly navigating stress, self-doubt, and the silent load of life. This candid, insightful discussion breaks the silence and sheds light on the “invisible” issues—burnout, impostor syndrome, and the unspoken pressures that disproportionately impact women in high-demand environments. Across any role or level, let’s share real stories, practical strategies, and mindset shifts that help us thrive without sacrificing our well-being. This is a conversation for anyone who’s ever said “I’m fine” when they weren’t. It’s time to get real and acknowledge that sometimes we just have issues and are still learning how to deal with them. Trends in Surveillance— This session will discuss how evolving tech is shaping casino surveillance, including regulatory impact and workforce development. Description: This session will focus on the impact of evolving technologies on casino surveillance. We will explore advancements such as high-definition video systems, integrated surveillance platforms, and tools that are transforming operations. Additionally, we will address recruitment and training strategies needed to prepare the workforce for these advancements. Next Gen – Empowering young professionals and new voices in tribal gaming leadership. Description: In this dynamic session, we will focus on empowering young professionals and amplifying new voices in tribal gaming leadership. Participants will engage in discussions about the challenges and opportunities facing the next generation of industry leaders. We will explore effective mentorship programs, networking strategies, and initiatives designed to elevate the contributions of young professionals.

Wednesday, May 14, 2025 – 1:45 – 2:45 PM Boundaries, Breaks, and Becoming Your Best

Description: In high-pressure environments like gaming and tribal enterprises, personal well-being is often overlooked. This empowering panel explores how setting boundaries and taking purposeful breaks are key to sustaining growth and leadership. Panelists will share how they’ve navigated burnout, redefined balance, and prioritized wellness while continuing to lead and inspire. Attendees will gain practical tools to protect their energy, align with their values, and show up as their best selves—at work and beyond.

This session explores how to protect your online presence, recognize cyber threats, and use technology wisely—empowering you to lead and grow with confidence in today’s digital landscape. Ambassadors – Recognizing and cultivating visible leaders who build community and represent the industry with strength. Description: Join us for the Women in Tribal Gaming Ambassador Session, a unique opportunity to connect with our Ambassadors and learn about their experiences and initiatives within the industry. This session will highlight the vital role that women play in tribal gaming and the importance of mentorship and leadership. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 – 3:00 - 4:00 PM Redefining Your Brand Description: Your brand is more than a job title—it’s how you show up, lead, and connect. This interactive session explores how to realign your personal and professional identity to reflect your growth and goals. Whether you’re navigating change, stepping into leadership, or seeking clarity, you’ll gain tools to refine your message, own your story, and present your brand with confidence and authenticity. Casino Ops Description: Operational excellence as a path to leadership: strategies, systems, and insight into running a top-tier gaming floor. Lift and You Lead: The Lasting Power of Mentors and Champions. Description: True leadership is not just about what we accomplish, but who we empower along the way. This dynamic workshop explores the profound difference between mentoring and championing—two powerful but often conflated roles in personal and professional development. Through real-life examples, interactive discussion, and reflection, we’ll examine how mentors guide through experience and wisdom, while champions advocate, open doors, and elevate others even when they’re not in the room. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how both roles contribute to legacy-building, the critical importance of influence and intentionality, and how to cultivate support systems that drive long-term growth—for ourselves and those we uplift. Thursday, May 15, 2025 – 9:30 – 10:30 AM Bridging the Gap – Mastering Communication Across Styles and Generations Descripton: Misunderstandings can easily arise with multiple generations and communication styles in today’s workplace. This session explores recognizing and adapting to different styles, improving collaboration, and creating stronger, more inclusive team connections. Licensing – Demystifying the licensing process and what it means for professionals in regulated tribal environments. Description: This panel will break down the often complex and intimidating licensing process within regulated tribal environments, offering clarity for both new and seasoned professionals. Panelists will share real-world insights into what licensing entails, why it matters, and how it impacts career mobility, compliance, and credibility in gaming operations. Attendees will better understand key requirements, common challenges, and proactive strategies to navigate the process confidently. Building A New Bridge - New Roles for Women in Gaming

Description: This dynamic panel explores the evolving landscape of leadership and career opportunities for women in the tribal gaming industry. As technology, regulation, and cultural priorities shift, new roles emerge—some that never existed a decade ago.
