We spent nearly a year and hundreds of thousands of dollars searching for a solution. I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed after nine days of no sleep, looking back at my life after being told I was probably not going to make it because the infection had gotten so bad. “I thought to myself, ‘What have I really done?’ I had done nothing but become successful for me, I realized.
