The number of townhome listings in Richmond fell to 273 in January, 3% below the previous month and a 15% decrease vs January 2019. The 61 townhome sales in January were 17% above December and 135% higher year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio rose to 22%, as Richmond’s townhome market transitioned to seller’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in January was $775,500, 0.7% above December but 4% lower than in January 2019. The average sold price was $825,144 (3% above December) with an average PSF sales price of $558 (3% above December).
